Istanbul - Cappadocia 8 nights / 9 days
DAY 1 ARRIVAL IN ISTANBUL
Arrival to Istanbul Airport (any time) and transfer to the hotel.
DAY 2 ISTANBUL
Breakfast at the hotel and daily city tour.
Istanbul City Tour:
We start our tour with Blue Mosque, facing Hagia Sophia, famous with its blue Iznik tiles and unique with 6 minarets, built in the name of Sultan Ahmet. Then, we visit the Topkapı Palace, where Imperial residence of Ottoman Sultans exhibiting Chinese porcelain, weapons, calligraphy section etc. and Hippodrome, where chariot races and the Byzantine riots took place.
Free time in Grand Bazaar with its 3.500 shops.
Return to the hotel and overnight.
DAY 3 ISTANBUL
Breakfast at the hotel and Princess Island tour.
Princess Island Tour:
After gathering all guests, we arrive at the Kabataş Pier. Departure is from European side and across the Bosphorus by boat to Princess Islands. Landing at Büyükada which is the largest and the most famous of this Islands chain. After a small tour in the town center and listening to the history of this lovely island, you’ll have time to enjoy the beautiful island shores. As there is no car allowed in the island, this promenade would be an unforgettable memory for you.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Free time in island until evening return time.
PS: Phaeton tour is not included due to our sensitivity to animal rights. A lunch will be served instead. However, passengers can purchase phaeton tour at an additional cost.
Return to the hotel and overnight.
DAY 4 ISTANBUL
Breakfast at the hotel and daily tour.
Bosphorus Tour:
Bosphorus Cruise through the waterway separating the two continents, Europe and Asia, with possibility to take photographs of marble palaces, ancient wooden villas of Ottoman architecture besides modern residences and luxurious apartments.
In the afternoon, Çamlıca Hill and Akasya Shopping Mall. We finish our tour with leather shopping at Zeytinburnu.
Return to the hotel and overnight.
DAY 5 ISTANBUL - CAPPADOCIA
Early breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Transfer to the Airport for Kayseri flight.
Arrival to Kayseri Airport and welcomed by your guide. Departure to Cappadocia and breakfast.
Fully guided tour to North Cappadocia, the tour starts with Devrent Valley, Zelve Open-Air Museum, and Monk’s Valley (Paşabaği) where you will find the world known fairy chimneys.
Lunch in Avanos and then continue to the Göreme Open-Air Museum where you will visit the numerous rock carved churches and monasteries. Depart for a panoramic view of Esentepe and then on to Uçhisar, a natural rock castle at the end of the tour.
Return to the hotel and overnight in Cappadocia.
DAY 6 CAPPADOCIA
After breakfast, a full day tour at Cappadocia. We start the tour by visiting the famous Derinkuyu Underground City. Afterwards a short hike through the green Ihlara Valley along the stream visiting some of the churches along the way. Stop in Belisirma for lunch and then on to Selime for a panoramic view. A stop over at the Ağzıkarahan Caravanserai is included.
Return to the hotel, free time and overnight.
DAY 7 CAPPADOCIA - ISTANBUL
After breakfast, check-out and transfer to Kayseri Airport.
Flight to Istanbul and transfer to Istanbul Hotel.
Free time and overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 8 ISTANBUL
Free time in Istanbul.
Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 9 DEPARTURE
Transfer to airport (any time) and end of our services.
